Un tema diferente… y sorprendente Por

La noche del pasado viernes 14, los asistentes a la
reunión mensual de The Cove/Rincón en FIU se llevaron a casa algo más que una
grata impresión. Carlos Zepeda, consejero en manejo de organizaciones y nuestro
invitado especial en el mes de junio, logró despertar el interés del público
presente durante su amena charla sobre la innovación en el sector de las
instituciones sin fines de lucro. Nos impresionaron particularmente su
sencillez, su profesionalidad y sus vastos conocimientos acerca de este novedoso
tema, expresado en un lenguaje claro y comprensible para todos, con el
propósito de mostrar el impacto que dichas técnicas innovadoras pueden tener en
el campo de las artes.

the Special Guest of the evening was Carlos
Zepeda, a very knowledgeable person on grants and non-profits. He started
by having each person say something about themselves and then with simplicity
and professionalism he put accross very interesting comments on the matter at
hand also explaning the importance and impact of non-profits in the field of
the arts. After all questions were asked
and satisfactoraly answered we continued with poetry readings from Sergio D., Estela G., Nilda, Ivonne and others. Maria
Ruiz said that she had been in FIU reunions 222 times, including that
evening, and that number meant butterfly, like the mascot of our organization,
interesting.. Steven Salgado read a
poem to his dad and I too read a poem for my dad who will forever be my
unforgettable daddy. Once again, a great evening!!
